After watching the devastating win over Shogun Rua, it doesn’t surprise me that the following thought came into my head: Jon Jones is undefeatable.
Unless Jones takes a trip to the heavyweight division, I don’t see anyone giving him a hard time.
Forrest Griffin is the only light heavyweight I can think of that is even close to the same size as him. Even then, it could still be an early night for Griffin.
On the other hand, Anderson Silva could be the one to hit Jon Jones like he has never been hit before.
By saying that, I mean that he would actually hit him.
Jones' style is so unorthodox that most guys have a hard time connecting with him. He set the bar with his win over Shogun.
I personally do not believe that Rashad Evans will even come close to beating Jones. Who can? This is a big question amongst MMA fans worldwide.
The only person in the UFC to defeat Rua in the UFC other than Lyoto Machida was Forrest Griffin. Should Griffin get the shot after Evans? Only time will tell.
